Three EASY Grants Your Church Might Not Know About

A lot of churches don’t realize that some of the best digital tools out there are already available to them, completely free, through nonprofit grants. These aren’t just trial versions or discounts. They’re full access to platforms that can help you communicate clearly, stay organized, and reach more people in your community.

Here are three grants that we often recommend:

  • Canva for Nonprofits — Free access to Canva Pro. It’s great for creating sermon graphics, event invites, and social media posts that look polished without needing a design degree. As a church, Canva Pro is a MUST HAVE.
  • Microsoft 365 for Nonprofits — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and more—free or deeply discounted. It’s everything your staff already uses, just made more affordable. This is one LESS people know about. Say goodbye to expensive zoom accounts because Microsoft Teams is a free alternative and it works just as well (i like it better).
  • Google Ad Grants — Up to $10,000/month in free Google Ads. That means when someone searches for a church or hope or help in your area, your church can show up right there in the results. This is the big one. We do offer to manage this for you, but you can sign up for free right now. PLUS, you get a nonprofit discount on all of G Suite. I've had clients get up to a 76% discount on all Google Workspace products.

These are simple, practical ways to steward the digital side of ministry, and they’re often underused simply because pastors and leaders don’t know they’re available or aren’t sure how to get started.

Just to be clear: we don’t get a dime for recommending these. This isn’t affiliate marketing or a sponsorship. We point churches to these tools because we’ve seen how much good they can do when used wisely.

If you’d like help applying or just want someone to walk you through what these tools could look like in your context, we’d be honored to come alongside you. No pressure. Just a conversation.
