Hey there!
I've been thinking about church websites...obviously! I can't seem to understand why people put so little emphasis on them.
Your church website is often the first place people go to learn about your ministry. But if your pages aren’t clear, engaging, and easy to navigate, visitors might not stick around long enough to get connected.
Here's a quick formula to help you optimize each page on your site so your visitors can be connected not just informed.
✅ Clear Headline – Communicate the main purpose of the page in a few words. Example: Plan Your Visit or Get Involved at [Church Name].
✅ Engaging Visuals – Use high-quality images or videos that reflect your church’s community and mission. Photos you take yourself are the best if you have them!
✅ Concise, Benefit-Driven Content – Speak directly to your audience. Instead of "Our church has small groups," try: Find a small group where you can grow in faith and build friendships. The way you say something makes all the difference.
✅ Strong Call to Action (CTA) – Tell visitors exactly what to do next. Example: Join us this Sunday! with a button linking to service times. Or, if they are watching a sermon on the importance of baptism, add a call to action where they can sign up to be baptized!
Want to take your church website to the next level? We’d love to help optimize your pages so they connect better with visitors and encourage engagement.
